Team Liquid's CS:GO squad didn't have the best of times in 2021, but at the BLAST Premier World Final, the team played like they had nothing to lose, ending fourth after getting knocked out by eventual champions, Na'Vi.
Their performance at the BLAST Premier World Final showcased what was possible for the squad, placing much higher than many would have anticipated.
It turns out this was the last hurrah for the squad, which has suffered from internal turmoil throughout the year. While the breakup of Team Liquid's 2021 CS:GO squad was written on the walls for quite some time, we now know which players will be joining in for 2022.
oSee and shox join Team Liquid
Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, Michael "Grim" Wince and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo are all currently inactive on the Team Liquid roster, and will likely transfer to another team soon with no official word on these players' future at the time of writing.
We do, however, know that both the French legend and Major winner formerly from Team Vitality, Richard "shox" Papillon, has officially joined Team Liquid's new CS:GO roster.
The 29-year-old star is joined by up-and-coming AWPer, the 22-year-old Josh "oSee" Ohm who has transferred from Extra Salt.

Eric "adreN" Hoag is the coach of this new Team Liquid CS:GO roster.
On Twitter, shox states: "Hyped to start this new adventure, one of the biggest and exciting challenge of my life, will do everything needed to make it a success. Blessed and proud to play along these guys in such a legendary club as Liquid"
oSee also took to Twitter to talk about his move from Extra Salt: "Thrilled to announce I’ll be joining Team Liquid. I have nothing but good things to say about my former teammates. You guys will always be family to me and I wish you nothing but the best of luck Red heart. 2021 was just the beginning for me time to get to work"
Team Liquid's new CS:GO starting lineup is not yet complete, with one player still missing from the active lineup.
