Brief rundown

Sprout once grew from a Seed and have been a predominantly German force ever since the end of 2017. After some time on BIG, denis has reunited with Spiidi and Sprout has climbed into the Closed Qualifier for the ESL One Rio Major.

This new Sprout has only played the DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020, the ESL One Rio Open Qualifiers and a series of MDL matches online. Currently, they sit second in MDL just behind Team GamerLegion with an 8-2 record.

With Virtus.pro returning to its CIS roots and Polish teams generally on the downward trend with none in attendance in the Closed Qualifier, dycha is one of only two Polish players across the 16 teams (the other being SMASH Esports’ Sebastian "NEEX" Trela).

Player to watch: oskar

After accusations of being a poor teammate and a dip in his personal performance, Sprout feels like a far way to fall for a player who is a top five AWPer on a good day.

Instead of a career highlight, Sprout is a chance at redemption for oskar. At 28, he will look to avoid the same fate as Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács, who saw a dramatic drop off of his own and remains on the Natus Vincere bench.

GINX prediction

German rival BIG finally claimed Florian "syrsoN" Rische but Sprout has been able to survive pruning in the past and come back stronger.

Sprout are likely underrated by many and we expect them to make it through to the Europe Minor for the ESL One Rio Major as they did previously for both IEM Katowice 2019 and the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 last year.
