Jet Skyesports has unveiled one of the biggest CS:GO tournaments in India, called Skyesports Masters, with a massive prize pool of INR 2 Crores. It will be a franchised league with a total of eight teams battling against each other for the winner's title for a span of three months that will conclude with a LAN in Mumbai, India.
It will kick off with on-ground café qualifiers across 20 cities, including Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and more. These qualifiers will be a platform for the eight participating teams to scout the best players for them, and once the rosters are finalized, the teams will play the LAN event consisting of the league stage and the playoffs.
"The Skyesports Masters is set to redefine and set an example for esports in India. With our franchised system, we have found eight fantastic partners to be a part of the inaugural season of the league." said Shiva Nandy, the Founder and CEO, Skyesports. "Our goal for the league is not to just create one of the grandest tournaments for audiences to enjoy but also to build a viable ecosystem for esports organizations while unlocking many revenue streams for them. This is the need of the hour for the Indian esports industry as a lot of organizations are reeling under huge losses."
The audience will be allowed at LAN; however, the schedule and ticket information is yet to be revealed by Skyesports. Apart from this, you will also be able to catch the tournament live on the official Skyesports YouTube channel in multiple languages.
