There are a total of 16 teams who've managed to get to the PGL Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR event, and they are all fighting to get to the actual Major.

These teams are from both North and South America. FURIA Esports qualified thanks to their placement at PGL Stockholm Major 2021, while the rest had to go through qualifiers.
PGL Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR schedule and format
The PGL Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR event runs from 11th to 15th April 2022. Matches start at 09:30 UTC time each day.
The tournament features a 16 Team Swiss System Format, and the Buchholz system is used to seed matches from Round 3 to 5.
All matches are best-of-one, with the exception of the Elimination and Advancement matches, which are best-of-three affairs.
The 6th place decider features a best-of-three, single-elimination gauntlet format, and the 1st place decider features a best-of-three single-elimination match if required.
Prize pool distribution PGL Antwerp Americas RMR
The 16 teams will fight it out for only six spots in the PGL Antwerp 2022 Major, with the first-place finish going directly to the Legends stage.

There are also two spots open in the Challenger stage, and three spots in the Contender stage. Any of these spots is of much more importance than a share of the $50,000 prize pool.
- 1st place - $25,000 and Legend status.
- 2nd place - $12,500 and Challenger status.
- 3rd place - $7,500 and Challenger status.
- 4th place - $5,000 and Contender status.
- 5th place - Contender status.
- 6th place - Contender status.
