The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice returns for another year of intense, high-octane esports action. As one of the most highly-anticipated events on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitive calendar, enthusiasts can look forward to watching the best teams worldwide compete for a $1 million prize pool and steal the hearts of Polish CS:GO fans at the Spodek Arena.
The championship matches will occur between 1-12 February 2023 and host 24 of the world's greatest CS:GO teams, including big names like FaZe, Team Vitality, Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, and more. How To Watch IEM Katowice 2023 Streams
As always, the IEM Katowice 2023 championship will be broadcast on the ESL Counter-Strike official Twitch channel. In addition, a simulcast and videos of all the games will be available on the ESL YouTube channel. IEM Katowice 2023 - Format & Schedule
The IEM Katowice 2023 tournament will take place from 1-12 February 2023, split into three phases: Play-Ins, Group Stage, and Playoffs. You can find the complete schedule and times for each stage of the event below. We'll update the entries below daily.
The tournament will start with a Play-In stage, which will take place from 1-3 February 2023. The Play-In stage will feature a double-elimination bracket: opening matches will be BO1, and all following matches will be BO3. The top eight teams from the Play-In stage will advance to the Group Stage.

The Group Stage of the IEM Katowice 2023 will take place from 4-7 February 2023. This stage will feature two double-elimination format (GSL) Groups, each comprising eight teams. All matches during the Group Stage will be BO3. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs. The winners will advance to the Semifinals, while the runners-up will advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds. The Group Stage 3rd place teams will advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds.
