The ESL Pro League Season 16 is a brilliant competition for CSGO teams looking to break into the top tier of the game. It’s also the biggest CSGO league with new teams qualifying from the Conference Stage.
The competition will feature 24 top-class teams who will compete for a prize pool of $835,000 and a place in the BLAST World Final 2022 and the IEM Katowice 2023. ESL Pro League Season 16 - How To Watch
CSGO fans can watch live broadcasts of all matches on ESL’s official Twitch channel. We have embedded the link for your convenience. The English broadcast is also available on two other Twitch channels and ESL will run simulcasts in multiple languages.

The ESL Pro League Season 16 will start on 31st August 2022 and end on 2nd October 2022. ESL has not yet announced the location or venue of the tournament as of the time of writing.
ESL Pro League 16 - Format
The Group Stage will feature a single round-robin format with all games being BO3, the competition will have four groups of six teams each. All teams will play against each other at least once in the Group Stage. The top team from the Group Stage will compete in the Quarterfinals. The second and third teams will qualify for the Round of 12s.
The Playoffs will feature a Single-Elimination bracket. Similar to Group Stage, all matches will be BO3. However, the Grand Finals will feature BO5 games.

ESL Pro League Season 16 - Prize Pool
The ESL Pro League Season 16 has a massive $835,000 prize pool. However, an opportunity to book places in the BLAST World Final 2022 and the IEM Katowice 2023 is the most important reward the winners will get. Here is the full breakdown of the prize pool and BLAST points.
- 1st: $175,000 - Seed in BLAST World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, and 2800 points
- 2nd: $70,000 - 1400 points
- 3rd and 4th: $35,000 - 875 points
- 5th and 8th: $17,500 - 262.5 points
