Brief rundown
Heroic had an impressive run that saw the team through to ESL One Cologne 2019 before a series of roster moves that saw Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen, Adam "friberg" Friberg and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer depart in favour of b0RUP, cadiaN, Snappi and new coach LOMME over the latter half of the year.

A semifinal finish at DreamHack Open Leipzig is the only LAN highlight of this year but a promising online result in the GG.Bet Winter Cup saw Heroic dominate the less experienced rosters such as Gambit Youngsters, SKADE and Phoenix.
With the rise of MAD Lions overshadowing the established Danish teams, the Closed Qualifier is a chance for all three Danish rosters in attendance to show up.
Player to watch: b0RUP
When b0RUP was signed back in August as the first step in the Heroic rebuild, he joined another young talent in 17-year-old Martin "stavn" Lund. While the latter had been signed after his time on Fragsters, b0RUP was taken from Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's Tricked Esports lineup.
Not the highest performer on Heroic, b0RUP is one to watch as he sits among some of the most experienced Danish players and continues to grow as a player.
GINX prediction
Heroic on paper should be one of the top eight teams to make it through to the Europe Minor, but recent lacklustre performances put them at risk. While the weaker teams in the Closed Qualifier shouldn't be too much of an issue, the chance of upsets that could shake up the lower bracket if Heroic are to fall or the heavy favourites such as Fnatic make the outlook for the journey look far from smooth.
