It's nearly time for the BLAST Premier European Showdown that brings together top teams to compete in CSGO starting 27th April.
BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown - CSGO

The BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown is nearing to bring some of the world’s best together to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Put on by BLAST Premier, the showdown brings together 16 world-best eSports teams to compete for a piece of the $135,000 prize pool.

The Premier Spring European Showdown is part of the spring events taking place as the middle event between Spring Groups and Spring Finals. These spring events make up a portion of the 2022 BLAST Premier Season.

The BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown will be held from 27th April through 1st May 2022. The Showdown can be viewed on the official BLAST Premier Youtube and Twitch platforms during scheduled game times.

Spring Groups were held from 28th January through 6th February 2022, and the Spring Finals will take place from 15th June through 19th June 2022, Showdown schedule times are held in the CET timezone. There is another Blast Premier season in the fall while the World Finals will be held in December 2022.

There are 16 teams competing in the BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown. Some of the teams earned their spot through the qualifiers, others from an official invite, as well as the return of winners from the Spring Groups. The Spring Groups are winners that came from the Premier Spring Groups that ran in January and February.

Here's the full list of squads you can expect to see:

  • NIP - Ninjas in Pajamas is a Swedish team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • Astralis - A Danish team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • Complexity - An American team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • MIBR - Made in Brazil is a Brazilian team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • Team Liquid - A multi-regional team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • Evil Geniuses - An American team returning from the Spring Groups.
  • Furia - A Brazilian team coming by invite.
  • Heroic - A Danish team coming by invite.
  • Godsent - A Swedish team coming by invite.
  • Sharks - A Portuguese team who made it through qualifiers.
  • Movistar Riders - A Spanish team that made it through qualifiers.
  • Bad News Eagles - A team from Kosovo who made it through qualifiers.
  • Copenhagen Flames - A Danish team who made it through qualifiers.
  • ENCE - A Finish team who made it through qualifiers.
  • Team NKT - A team from Thailand who made it through qualifiers.
  • Pain Gaming - A Brazilian team who made it through qualifiers.
