Now that Tabitha has finally settled in and launched her Control Center, there are plenty of new locations to discover during Victoria's expedition on Ava. Sometimes, going off the main path can lead Victoria to places of tranquility, where she may find meditation spots called Censers.
The Naam utilized these locales to deepen their connections to the planet by appreciating its beauty, and Victoria can follow in their footsteps by doing the same. This guide will explain what Censers are, how they work, and where to find them all in Creatures of Ava.
What Are Censers In Creatures Of Ava? Explained
Creatures of Ava does feature a plethora of unique collectibles that players can discover through their explorations or by accident during quests. We've previously highlighted Wind Chimes in a separate guide, but there is another group of collectibles to find in this expansive world called Censers.
Forgive the spelling for this, which isn't precisely what players may think they are, but Censers are meditative spots that can be discovered across Ava's regions. When interacting with them, these locales allow Victoria to "admire the natural beauty of the planet," being Ava through music, which, at this point, they should have the Flute in their possession.
By interacting with a Censer, a musical minigame will appear on-screen for which each region's Censers will let them play its associated song, for example: in the Tamûra Grasslands region, they'll learn the Song of Grass from the Naam shepherd during "The Songs of Ava" quest. And yes, they can gain Research Points for discovering Censers, which also contributes to the Musician Achievement.
All Censer Locations In Creatures Of Ava
Like with Wind Chimes, Censers can be found in each region across Ava, with the Tamûra Grasslands being the starting area when they begin the main story questline. For consideration, there are Censers to be discovered in the Nari Jungle, the Mâruba Swamp, and the Antar Dunes regions, which are unlocked through quest progression.
While we have yet to reach the other notable regions of Ava, we will update this page with the Censer locations and provide information on how players may find them in-game. Nevertheless, we've listed all the Censer locations in Creatures of Ava per region and detail how to find them through exploration or in quests:
Censer #1: The first Censer is located just outside the Arsira Village, slightly southwest of the Tamûra Grasslands Sibling Tree, atop a rock in the river flowing around the village.
Censer #2: The next Censer can be located within the Arsira Village at Nim'ar's current location inside the Ohol-cote Tower by taking the staircase to the left of them and heading up the stairs and looking to the left; the Censer can be found on a platform nearby.
Censer #3: The following Censer is found on a lone rock in the river at the Cascade of Joy location that is north of the Arsira Village. They should be able to see it from the Ohol-cote Tower, but they'll need to find an Ohol to connect with to destroy the ropes of a platform on this rock and from the Rescue Bot, sprint across, and activate the Censer.
Censer #4: The fourth Censer is east of Arsira Village, in the area on the right side of the bridge connecting to the Ohol-cote Tower. There will be a series of platforms that, using Ava Connect to a Kraj, can bite the ropes and lower it before jumping across, and there should be an infected area to their left where the Censer can be located.
Censer #5: The final Censer is at the Cavern of Sighs and can be discovered while completing "The Key to Love" quest by following Ôbon's blue-colored Ohol, which will take them to the cavern. Follow the path through the cavern, and once they're back outside, the Censer should be found right on the cliff's edge.
