The world of Ava features four unique biomes in which Victoria can conduct her research, record data on the creatures that roam the lands, and meet its inhabitants, the Naam, to learn about their culture and customs. There are also a few secrets about the people who lived on Ava, whose history and traditions are hidden within obelisk structures called Sagestones.
Attempting to interact with a Sagestone will trigger a mosaic puzzle to solve, of which the first one to find is inside the Antaris Cliff Temple. This guide aims to help players solve this mosaic puzzle and learn about the Antaris tradition associated with this puzzle in Creatures of Ava.
How To Solve The Antaris Cliff Temple Mosaic In Creatures Of Ava?
During the expedition of Ava to save the planet's wild creatures while learning more about the unique customs of its inhabitants, the Naam, Victoria will discover plenty of secrets hidden throughout the world. She'll learn about these customs by discovering Sagestones, which comes with a unique puzzle to solve before gaining a new ability for the Nafitar staff.
The first Sagestone is discovered inside the Antaris Cliff Temple area during the Welcome to Ava quest. With Nim'ar's guidance, Victoria must solve the puzzle to learn about the unique custom associated with the mural depicted and the new ability for the staff.
Using the W, A, S, and D keys or the left Analog stick to move the puzzle pieces into position, they can also rotate them to match the mural depicted in the mosaic puzzle using the Q and E keys or the right Analog stick. With that said, here's how to solve the Antaris Cliff Temple Mosaic puzzle:
- With the center mosaic piece fixed, move the bottom left mosaic piece as it is to the top left side of the center mosaic piece, matching the crown (tree leaves and branches) line up with the trunk
- Using the left mouse or the A buttons, switch to the top right mosaic piece and rotate it before moving it to the top right side of the center mosaic piece so that its crown lines up with the trunk.
- Switch to the mosaic piece at the center bottom, slightly rotate it so the moon image lines up, and move it under the top right mosaic piece.
- Switch to the top left mosaic piece and move it to the bottom right side of the puzzle, ensuring it lines up with the previous mosaic piece.
- The last mosaic piece is the bottom right piece, which must also be rotated 180 and then shifted to the bottom left side of the puzzle for the mural to be revealed.
Nim'ar then explains the mural to Victoria, which depicts a funeral custom in which the Antaris people bury the dead in the ground or soil, and a tree will be "uprooted." The Antaris will then take these "uprooted" trees and have them float above the graves, which are used as markers or gravestones for their loved ones.
Once the mosaic puzzle is solved, the Nafitar staff gains the ability to lift or levitate objects and infected creatures for a limited time, which is called Ushun. Players can use the LT button or the left mouse button to connect to an object or creature and then the RB button or the Q key to cast energy to lift or move objects.
