At the Sava Center in Belgrade, Serbia, Counter-Strike 2 esports fans witnessed one of the most dominating performances in 2024 thus far, with MOUZ smashing through the competition from 14 to 19 May at the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 event.
MOUZ got off to a solid start, beating BetBoom Team 2-0 with the final map going into overtime, and then kicked Virtus.pro to the curb with a 2-1 victory that was more one-sided than the scoreline suggests, as Virtus.pro only managed to win six rounds in total on the first and third map.
In the playoffs of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, MOUZ had a lot of momentum and a hunger for more gold, beating HEROIC with a convincing 2-0 to make it to the grand final. On the other side of the single-elimination bracket, Team Spirit made quick work of Team Falcons.
In the grand final of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, MOUZ got stronger with each map, leaving no chance for Team Spirit to recover. MOUZ beat Team Spirit 13-11 on Vertigo, 13-9 on Ancient, and 13-4 on Mirage to complete their impressive sweep.
MOUZ is on an absolute rampage as of late, having recently swept Team Vitality under the rug at ESL Pro League Season 19 with a 3-0 win.
