Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 will bring two new weapons to the game along with a massive number to balance changes to refresh the game's meta. In addition to this, they will also be introducing a brand new attachment for RPD called Cooling Compressor Barrel.
The attachment will replace the traditional reloading mechanism with an overheating mechanism that will help control the heating exhaust to achieve stable and continuous firepower. Here's how you can get this attachment in COD Mobile Season 5.
COD Mobile Season 5: RPD Cooling Compressor Barrel attachment
The good thing is that the Cooling Compressor Barrel attachment for RPD will be available to grab to free in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5. In order to unlock it, you will just have to complete some easy tasks in a seasonal challenge.
In addition to this, you will also be able to earn new Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and up to 30,000 Battle Pass XP upon completing those missions. Here is the list of nerfs and buffs the attachment will provide to the weapon as per Leakers On Duty.
- Switches to Overheated Fire Mode (Nerf)
- +15% Damage Range (Nerf)
- -10% Vertical Recoil (Nerf)
- -10% Hit Flinch (Nerf)
- -3% Movement Speed (Buff)
- +10% ADS Bullet Spread (Buff)
However, Activision has not revealed anything about which seasonal challenge will bring the Cooling Compressor Barrel to COD Mobile, but we will update you once we get more info about it.
A seasonal challenge runs till the end of a season, which means you will have plenty of time to unlock this attachment. Once you claim the reward, you will have to go to the loadout section of Call of Duty: Mobile, then tap on the gun and go to the Gunsmith section to select RPD Cooling Compressor Barrel attachment.
