COD: Mobile Shotgun tier list - Every shotgun ranked from best to worst for Season 4

The release of COD: Mobile Season 4 saw balance changes to a tonne of weapons. While shotguns didn't get any changes in Season 4, the game's meta continues to evolve, as more and more players start finding the perfect loadouts for the best shotguns in the game. With that in mind, we rank all the shotguns in COD: Mobile Season 4 from best to worst in our new tier list.

COD: Mobile Season 4 Shotgun tier list 

COD: Mobile Season 4 didn't add a new shotgun into the mix. This means we still just have six shotguns to choose from when compiling our new tier list.

Please note: This tier list is accurate at the launch of COD: Mobile Season 4. Balance changes can happen throughout the season.

This tier list for shotguns in COD: Mobile Season 4 is based on the current multiplayer meta, as well as the general power level of all six weapons.

Description of the tiers

We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.

S-Tier: The absolute best shotgun to use in COD: Mobile Season 4 which can blow your enemies to smithereens.

A-Tier: With a good loadout these shotguns can go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.

B-Tier: These shotguns are capable of delivering a whole lot of damage if used correctly.

C-Tier: This shotgun tier absolutely requires you to use a perfect loadout. 

D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other shotguns in this list.

It is important to note tier lists are not an exact science. 

COD: Mobile Shotgun tier list

Below, we've ranked all six shotguns for the start of COD: Mobile Season 4 from best to worst, kicking things off with the only shotgun in the S-Tier. 

S-Tier Shotgun:

Blast your enemies away with the KRM-262(Picture: Activision)

• KRM-262

The KRM-262 remains the best shotgun to use in COD: Mobile Season 4, just like it was in Season 2 and 3, thanks to its high damage and accuracy which can blow an opponent away in a couple of shots.

A-Tier Shotgun:

• Echo

Coming in just behind the KRM-262 is the Echo, which released back in COD: Mobile Season 10. This self-loading shotgun is perfect for those who want to keep firing in close-quarters combat.

B-Tier Shotguns:

• Striker

With the right loadout featuring all the best attachments, the Striker can compete with the Echo and comes very close to entering the A-Tier shotguns for COD: Mobile Season 4.

C-Tier Shotgun:

• HS2126
• BY15

Despite having the highest fire rate, the HS2126 slips down to the C-Tier due to having an extremely short effective damage range. This means you won't be able to kill opponents easily if they aren't standing next to you. The BY15, having not been used quite too often, drops down to the C-Tier.

D-Tier Shotgun:

• HS0405 

Instead of using the HS0405, we recommend using one of the other shotguns on our tier list for COD: Mobile Season 4. The poor HS0405 just can't catch a break. Hopefully, it gets buffed a bit before the end of Season 4.
