Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9, entitled: "Nightmare," is finally live and features a slew of new spooky content and gameplay feature adjustments, including the return of the "Standoff" multiplayer map, a new "Sawmill" map, a new "Dropzone" multiplayer mode, new Perks, a new Flash Drone and new Scorestreaks.
The developers Activision also released a shiny new battle pass and a menu of weapon balance changes. There are also two new weapons in COD Mobile: the Swordfish assault rifle (AR) and Thumper tactical rifle.
Activision finally buffed the UL736 and S36, which were the worst LMGs in previous COD Mobile seasons. Activision also balanced the CR-56 AMAX, M13 and KN-44 assault rifles in survival and multiplayer modes and the MX9 in the COD Mobile battle royale mode.
COD Mobile Season 9 LMG tier list
In case you don't know, LMGs are weapons with large ammunition capacity and are capable of doing considerable damage that can shred opponents in seconds. There are a total of seven LMGs in COD Mobile Season 9, including the hybrid Holger 26.
Please note: Our tier lists are not an exact science; however, we do strive to make our LMG list as accurate as humanly possible.
Description of the tiers
- S-Tier: Even without the perfect loadout, the S-Tier LMG in COD Mobile Season 9 is considered the best of the best. You can't go wrong.
- A-Tier: With the right attachments and a great loadout that suits your playstyle, the A-Tier light machine guns can compete with the S-Tier.
- B-Tier: LMGs in this tier can still pack a punch with the perfect loadout and should be considered average.
- C-Tier: You will require the perfect loadout to make this LMG sing. Only effective in specific situations or for particular playstyles.
- D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be better off simply going for one of the other five LMGs on the list.
LMG tier list
Here are all the LMGs in COD Mobile Season 9, ranked from best to worst.
S-tier LMG:
The Chopper is currently the strongest LMG in COD Mobile Season 9. This LMG boasts incredible damage, a high rate of fire and excellent accuracy. Activision also recently buffed The Chopper, increasing the gun's base damage range from 10 to 14 meters!
A-tier LMGs:
The Hades has proven to be a force to be reckoned with since its release in COD Mobile Season 7, boasting great control and a very high fire rate. However, Hades makes no mistake in being an LMG from hell by absolutely dominating long-ranged engagements.
B-tier LMGs:
The Holger 26 is a hybrid weapon, lying somewhere between being an LMG and assault rifle. It doesn't pack the highest damage but can still take an enemy down in four or five shots. The Holger 26 has manageable recoil, a high fire rate and good mobility but needs a solid loadout to shine.
C-tier LMG:
- RPD
- M4LMG
- UL-736
The UL-736 was recently promoted to the C-tier following several buffs by Activision. These buffs include increased base damage, movement speed and ADS speed. In addition, Activision also adjusted the gun's base recoil, hopefully making the UL-736 more popular among COD Mobile Season 9.
D-tier LMG:
- S36
Activision also recently improved the S36, adjusting the recoil of the base gun to make it more controllable during continuous firing. In addition, the developers also added Disabled Perk. Despite this, the changes were not remarkable enough to move the S36 to the C-tier in Season 9.
That completes our list of the best LMGs in COD Mobile Season 9, ranked from best to worst, so you don't have to do the research.
