Best SKS loadout for COD Mobile: Attachments, Perks, Gunsmith, more

Call of Duty: Mobile is now into its second year and the new content just keeps coming from new events, maps and game modes there is always something new to do in the mobile title.

The start of Season 1 saw the release of the FR .556 assault rifle and now, at around the halfway point, we have the SKS marksmen rifle.

This semi-automatic rifle is accurate with good range and high bullet penetration and with the right attachments, it becomes a great partner to an SMG or lower calibre assault rifle.

It does have some drawbacks though, namely its aim down sight (ADS) speed and this loadout is designed to combat that.

Before players can get their hands on the rifle they will need to either complete the BR Buff challenges or get spendy and try to unlock the legendary version through a Lucky Draw.

• Barrel: MIP Extended Light Barrel
• Stock: No Stock
• Laser: Owc Laser - Tactical
• Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

Key to this build is the OWC Laser - Tactical which increases the ADS speed by 8%, similarly the Stippled Grip Tape that increases the ADS speed by a further 5%.

Vulture: Pick up ammo from kills equal to the magazine capacity of the current weapon.

Is the SKS meta?

At the moment it appears not. It doesn't pack quite the punch of a one-shot kill sniper rifle, or the accuracy and fire-rate of an assault rifle thus making it rather redundant.

There is a case for it being more usable in battle royale mode which its generally longer range engagements but even that is a push.
