How To Get The Tactical Pistol In The Callisto Protocol

Players can pick up increasingly powerful weapons as they progress in the new survival horror game The Callisto Protocol. Picking up these weapons is important to get further in the game, as they can be used to take out more and more powerful enemies. One of the game's nine weapons is called the Tactical Pistol.

Let's go over how to get the Tactical Pistol in The Callisto Protocol, as well as what it is, how it's used, and all of the upgrades you'll have access to.

What Is The Tactical Pistol In The Callisto Protocol?

The Tactical Pistol is the second-to-last weapon you'll pick up in The Callisto Protocol. It is a short-range weapon that can quickly fire bullets.

The gun's in-game description reads: "Preferred by ex-military officers for its low recoil and high rate of fire. Based on the UJC Modular Weapons Platform."

The Callisto Protocol Tactical Pistol Upgrades

Like other weapons in The Callisto Protocol, the Tactical Pistol can be upgraded at a Reforge Machine to improve its capabilities. Here is a list of all of the upgrades available for the Tactical Pistol at the Reforge Machines.

How To Get The Tactical Pistol In The Callisto Protocol

The Tactical Pistol can be found once you reach Chapter 6 - Below of The Callisto Protocol. You'll definitely need it here, too, since the enemies begin to get a lot more challenging at this portion of the game.

Go along with the story until you encounter your first enemy. You'll then drop down into a path that will offer a fork in the road with two options: left or right. Go left and keep walking until you reach a room called Workshop 2A on the right.

In this room, you'll find nothing but a dying enemy and the Tactical Pistol Schematic. The Schematic sits on a bench next to some lockers and the dying enemy. Make sure you pick it up.

To get the Tactical Pistol, go to a Reforge Machine and craft one for 600 Callisto Credits.
