Call of Duty MW2 & Warzone Season 5 Roadmap Revealed

Call of Duty has gone through a lot of different changes throughout the years. With all of the releases of different Call of Duty games, it is important to keep up. That is why it is exciting news when the most recent games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty Warzone 2 get an update.

Soon, we are going to be getting Season 5 content for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Season 5 is coming very soon and there is a lot of content that is on the way. Thankfully, we have a roadmap from Activision to let us know what's going to happen. Here, we'll go over the roadmap for Season 5 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Roadmap Revealed For Modern Warfare 2 Season 5

There's a lot coming to Season 5 of Modern Warfare 2. The roadmap highlights some new maps on the way for Multiplayer, such as Punta Mar, Strike, DRC - Zone 1, Lounge, and Canal. Lounge and Canal will be for Gunfight Only. On top of that, there are going to be a few new game modes introduced in Season 5.

The new upcoming game modes are called Havoc, Big Capture The Flag, and Gunfight Variants. On top of these, we'll also be getting a Faction Showdown Event on September 4th. For the rest of the season, there will be a Vehicle Challenge Event and a Camo Challenge Event.

Roadmap Revealed For Warzone 2 Season 5

Warzone 2 will also be getting some brand new content in Season 5. According to the roadmap, the Dirt Bike and the MRAP vehicle will be available to use during your matches. On top of that, there are going to be two new game modes introduced in Season 5 as well.

The two game modes are called Fort Resurgence and Armored Royale. But that's not all — DMZ will be getting some new field upgrades, called Disguise, Battle Revive, Scuba Gas Mask, and Revive Box, along with some new missions. To top it all off, Activision has hinted at a grand reveal for Call of Duty 2023, which seems set to take place during an in-game event. 

Both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will see new Operators and weapons added in Season 5, both available as part of the new Battle Pass and through other means.
