How to slide cancel in Warzone

Moving quickly from one place to another is an essential aspect in Warzone to get an upper hand over the enemies. The fastest way is to use one of the game's vehicles, however, if you don't have one, you can perform a slide cancel to get the maximum speed while running. 

It is a technique that can help you avoid slowing down after performing a slide and will also help players escape tricky situations in the game. A slide cancel can be performed in Warzone both on controller or by using keyboard and mouse. Here's how to do it:

Controller

Performing a slide cancel using controller is quite simple, it can be done by following the steps listed below:

1. The first thing to do is press the left stick twice to start tactical sprint.
2. Then you have to perform a slide by holding 'O' or 'B'.
3. The next step is to crouch by tapping 'O' or 'B'.
4. Stand back by tapping 'X' or 'A'.
5. Repeat the above steps, again and again, to perform this technique continuously.

Keyboard and mouse

To perform slide cancel using keyboard and mouse, you need to set your Left CTRL keybind to "change stance/slide". After this, follow these steps:

1. The first thing to do is press 'left shift' twice to start a tactical sprint.
2. Then you have to perform a slide by holding 'left CTRL'.
3. The next step is to press 'left CTRL' again to crouch and return to a standing position
4. Repeat the above steps, again and again, to perform this technique continuously.

Mastering the slide cancel technique in Warzone will take a bit of practice but once you have mastered it you will be slipping and sliding all over Verdansk and beyond.
