Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific is now full steam ahead after a rough first couple of days where we had issues with corrupted textures and server problems.
We have already taken a wild tour around some of the best weapons available for the game and for the most part our loadout has started to shape up exactly how we need it to be to try and become the last man standing in Caldera.
Nonetheless, while we may have now found the right gun we still have to carefully choose the equipment around it, from which field upgrade will help us out the most to which tactical equipment will bail us out from a chaotic encounter so we will lay out all of the options for you.
All of the Field Upgrades available in COD Warzone Pacific
We are going to cut straight to the chase and start with every option available you have as a Field Upgrade in Warzone Pacific:
- Munitions Box - Medium recharge rate
The munitions box will deploy a boatload of ammo for you and your teammates so you don’t easily run out of bullets in the midst of confrontation.
- Recon Drone - Slow recharge rate
This remote-controlled drone will allow you to scout the nearby area in order to locate and mark enemies around you until you run out of battery you the drone gets shot down.
- Dead Silence - Fast recharge rate
This is probably the most common upgrade as you will find it very often around the map as well. You will become a stealth artist as your footsteps will be silent momentarily allowing you to sneakily ambush your opponents before they notice you.
- Stopping Power Rounds - Slow recharge rate
Along with the recon drone, this is the slowest field upgrade available and the power round is “wasted” very easily as they will drain out in a blink if you are in a shooting battle with an enemy.
- Trophy System - Fast recharge rate
Just like the Dead Silence upgrade, the Trophy System is very common to find around Caldera and it will allow you to protect yourself from up the three nearby pieces of explosive equipment or projectiles, so it is better to be used on vehicles.
- Deployable Cover - Fast recharge rate
A very straightforward field upgrade, the deployable cover is a very light and portable shield that will allow you to create some cover in open fields and reduce the damage you receive.
- EMP Drone - Medium recharge rate
The EMP Drone is the explosive cousin of the Recon Drone that will allow you to wreak havoc in a targeted location with this remote-controlled plane. Also to be noted that in its navigation it will disable all nearby electronics.
- Weapon Drop - Medium recharge rate
Last but not least, this weapon drop field upgrade will deliver a gun repository with some high-powered weapons and attachments that could give your team an edge.
Every Lethal and Tactical equipment for your loadout in COD Warzone Pacific
Moving along we will now go over the lethal and tactical equipment that we could pick as part of our arsenal before we head over the tropical scenes of Caldera, keep in mind some of these selections will have some restrictions:
Lethal Equipment
- Frag Grenade
- Molotov Cocktail
- C4
- Throwing Knife
- Flaming Throwing Knife (Unlock through bundle)
- EHV Throwing Knife (Unlock through bundle)
- Phlebotomist (Unlock through bundle)
- Claymore (Restricted)
- Semtex (Restricted)
- Proximity Mine (Restricted)
- Thermite (Restricted)
Restricted items are not eligible in current Warzone Pacific playlists but we are certain that as the game progresses it will allow us to use our old loadouts without conditions.
As for the unlockable pieces of lethal equipment, they are pretty much weapons “skins” as they will offer no functional difference from the throwing knife aside from the obvious visual change.
Just like the lethal equipment, there is some restricted tactical equipment that will only be available in future Warzone Pacific playlists:
Tactical Equipment
- Flash Grenade
- Stun Grenade
- Smoke Grenade
- Stim
- Gas Grenade
- Snapshot Grenade (Restricted)
- Heartbeat Sensor (Restricted)
- Decoy Grenade (Restricted)
So there you have it, you can play around with several combinations of equipment and field upgrades until you find the right one for the loadout you’re building while trying to sneak your way into a Warzone Victory.
