Modern Warfare 3 finally disclosed all the weapons available in Multiplayer from launch, allowing players to mentally prepare themselves for battle. 

It's vital to mention that all of the MW2 weapons are being carried over into MW3, therefore, this article will specify all new weapons in MW3. While all MW2 weapons will be available for MW3 players, each weapon unlock challenge must be completed before it becomes accessible to players regardless of previous progress on MW2.

Players won't need to "claim" or complete any specific prior objective to gain access to MW2 weapons, even if the player didn't own MW2. When launching MW3 Multiplayer, simply head to the desired MW2 weapon you wish to unlock and follow the objectives listed to unlock the weapon.
