Modern Warfare 3 Leaks Hint At Rick Grimes & Michonne Operators

As we approach the start date for Modern Warfare 3 Season 1, leaks and speculation has begun to overtake the community. Eagle-eyed leakers have spotted what they believe to be one of the next collaborations heading to Call of Duty, this time with The Walking Dead.

The news of the crossover comes via @ModenasHD on X, who posted that Rick Grimes and Michonne have been found in the game files. While official confirmation is still missing, it's believed that the crossover could be tied to the upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off show, The Ones Who Live.

At the time of writing, its unclear whether Rick Grimes and Michonne will be made into Operator skins, but given Call of Duty's history with franchise tie-ins, it seems likely. This also wouldn't be either character's first time reimagined for a popular online shooter. Both Rick and Michonne have received Fortnite skins in the past. 

MW3: Rick Grimes & Michonne Operator Release Date

So far, Activision have yet to confirm or reveal a release date for Rick Grimes and Michonne coming to Modern Warfare 3. However, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is currently scheduled for release on February 25, 2024. It's likely that the Operator skins will be made available on or around that date.

More information on the collaboration will likely surface as we head closer to the premiere of the spin-off show.
