Adding and inviting friends is actually pretty easy in Modern Warfare 3. To start, players will want to be on the main Multiplayer menu. From there, they will want to open up the Social Menu. In that Social Menu, players will see a lot of different options in front of them. They can also see who among their friends is playing Modern Warfare 3 at any given moment.

In the Social Menu, players can then go to the Invite To Party button that's on the bottom bar. From there, they can select who they want to invite to a party in Modern Warfare 3.

Alternatively, players can also hover over their friend's name in the game and invite them in that way as well. There's also the option to filter out friends that were made through the platform network (PSN, etc.) or through Activision Friends.

How To Accept A Party Invite In Modern Warfare 3

Accepting a party invite for Modern Warfare 3 is not too difficult. Once again, it will start by players being on the main menu. From there, they will have to select the options button. From the options menu, they will have to go to their notifications where there should be the invite from their friends.

Go to that invite, select it and then hit join group. Once that's done, players should be added to the group that they were just invited to. Alternatively, players can create groups through their platforms online service. Whether it is on Steam or PSN, it should work the same.
