Following two successful beta weekends, the run-up to Modern Warfare 3's release is underway. Ahead of the game's global launch on November 10, 2023, players who pre-ordered MW3 will have access to the Campaign a few days early thanks to Campaign Early Access.
This also means that those with access will be able to pre-load the Campaign ahead of the Early Access start time, in order to get as much from the early period as possible. To help you get prepared, we've listed everything you need to know about MW3's Campaign Early Access, including its pre-load time and download size.
Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Early Access Pre-Load Start Date & Time
Players who pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 will be able to pre-load the Campaign Early Access from November 1, 2023 at 10am PT. Campaign Early Access will then go live a day later, on November 2, 2023 at 10am PT.
Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Early Access Download Size
Players taking part in MW3's Campaign Early Access will need to download two Campaign Packs, according to account @PlaystationSize on X (Twitter). The two Campaign Packs will be of different sizes, and may vary depending on platform :
PlayStation 5:
- Campaign Pack 1: 18.042 GB
- Campaign Pack 2: 32.942 GB
It's important to note that these are the download sizes for the Campaign Packs alone, and does not include Call of Duty HQ. If you have yet to download Call of Duty HQ, needed to access MW3, you can also expect a roughly 140 GB download in addition to the Campaign Packs.
At the time of writing, its unclear how big the download size will be for platforms other than PlayStation 5, however players should expect to be met with similar sizes.
