Warzone Sniper Rifles tier list - every Sniper and Marksmen Rifle ranked from best to worst

Call of Duty: Warzone contains over 80 primary weapons a number boosted by the recent integration of Black Ops Cold War.

That integration and the release of Season 1 shook up the Warzone meta more than we had seen in the past. The wonky synchronisation of attachments and loadouts from two games didn't help, with hidden buffs and nerfs becoming apparent, and flat out broken mechanics which made it hard to work out how things truly work.

However, many of those bugs have now been ironed out, and certainly, the game feels more balanced than in those couple of weeks where the MAC-10 and DMR-14 dominated lobbies.

With the dust settled we thought it would be a good time to look at each of the major weapon categories and working out which guns are truly the best in each.

First up is Sniper Rifles and Marksmen Rifles, it may not feel like there is much differentiation in these categories, and for all intents and purposes, there isn't so we have thrown them together for the sake of this tier list.

Sniper Rifles in Warzone tend to have the higher calibre munitions and are more cumbersome than Marksmen Rifles but there is a huge overlap in their functionality.

Warzone Sniper Rifle tier list 

For the purpose of this tier list, we have combined both categories together to rank the best Sniper/Marksmen Rifles in Warzone.

The rankings include all weapons from Black Ops Cold War and is accurate up to the mid-season update for Season 1.

Description of the tiers

We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.

S-Tier: The absolute best Snipers in Warzone

A-Tier: The correct loadout will help this Rifle compete with the best.

B-Tier: In the right hands or in certain scenarios this Sniper Rifle is very capable.

C-Tier: A personality pick, maybe you feel confident with it, or you run a loadout that is perfect but ultimately this gun will leave you wanting compared to others higher up the list.

D-Tier: Garbage tier - don't waste your time.

Remember tier lists are not an exact science. This tier list just gives you an idea of the general power of the game's Sniper Rifles as they stand in the today.

Remember this is not an exact science you may find that you would rank the game's sniper rifles differently but that is the beauty of Call of Duty, Warzone, and battle royales in general.
