Verdansk, Warzone's main map, has got a secret new map change that hasn't been announced in the patch notes - a massive bunker hidden beneath the Verdansk airport.
Given that the full focus of Season 1 was on a brand new map, Rebirth Island, and a myriad of new weapons, operators, and blueprints, Warzone players didn't expect much when it comes to good old Verdansk, the main map of the game.

And indeed things looked like we are not going to see any changes for Verdansk. The map wasn't even mentioned at all during the promo period, and when Season 1 patch notes arrived, there was no mention of Verdansk.
And yet, there's a huge new location on the map - an underground bunker below the Verdansk Airfield.
The bunker is completely open, there are no easter eggs like with the yellow door on Rebirth Island, anyone has access to it at any time, and players can even drop directly inside from the start.
Players have noticed that the bunker looks like the Lubyanka bunker from the Black Ops Cold War campaign, and the location will most definitely be a hot spot during the next few days, as players will want to drop there and find out everything about the new location.

Currently, there are two known entrees to the area, the ladder in the small building on the field and the hole in the runway, and both are rather tricky for moving around because you are quite exposed, but are pretty easy for defending, and the place will definitely offer new strategic options for players, for which we cant wait to see how will they use in their advantage.
For the location like this, you will want a good mid-range weapon, and we have the best XM4 loadout which will work perfectly when you find yourself amidst battle in the bunker.
