Warzone has been in a rough state for the last few months, to say the least. From the countless cheaters wreaking havoc across Verdansk to the many glitches and bugs, players aren’t thrilled with the battle royale. However, Raven Software, the main developers behind the title, have kept things afloat by releasing patches once or twice a month.
While those patches initially seem to fix some of the game’s problems, glitches always pop up a week or two after its release. It’s a vicious, never-ending cycle that players have continually had to live with since the game first released back in March of last year. Fortunately for Activision, Warzone is enjoyable enough that fans have stuck around.
Though, that enjoyment may not last much longer if some issues aren’t fixed. The chief problem many fans are having, besides the many cheaters, is the non-stop resurgence of the Stim glitch, which made yet another return earlier this week.

Players report the return of the Stim glitch in Warzone
For those unaware, the Stim is intended to heal players whilst replenishing their Tactical Sprint in a one-time move. Players are only supposed to be able to stack one Stim but glitches have been discovered that allow players to continually reap the benefits of the equipment.
Three weeks ago, Raven Software released a patch that was meant to put a stop to the Stim glitch once and for all. The patch notes clearly specified that the glitch was fixed and players breathed a huge sigh of relief. No longer would their games end with someone sitting in the gas and healing themselves with a Stim non-stop.

However, a couple of weeks after the patch’s release, clips began surfacing that indicated the glitch had returned. One Reddit post showcased a hacker taking advantage of the bug and even using night vision goggles in Warzone.
Some fans shrugged off this clip though, as they thought the glitch was only accessible by players who are using cheats. This theory has proved false, as many players are now reporting dying to legitmate players using the Stim glitch.
stim glitch is back :) just lost to it. fucking idiots you guys have one job my grandmother 6ft under the ground can do a better job than you guys @RavenSoftware

One player was even able to spectate a player using the Stim glitch in a recent game of Warzone. It’s clear that despite Raven Software’s best efforts, players will continue to find ways of abusing the mechanic.

There are calls for Activision to simply remove the Stim from Warzone entirely. Others are calling out Activision’s incompetence as a whole, as the game’s problems don’t stop with this particular glitch.
If history is any indicator though, Raven Software will simply release another patch and players will find another exploit soon after.
