Activision has announced the second annual Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) Bowl event will take place on 11th December.
The event, which was won last year by Team Courage, saw members of the United States Army esports team join forces with top streamers to compete in a Call of Duty tournament - raising money and awareness for veteran employment.
For this year’s event, eight teams captained by a Call of Duty streamer and influencer will compete - all coached by a Call of Duty League professional.
All five US Department of Defence military branches and UK military will participate with their own esports teams. This year’s Bowl will include three new teams from the US Marine Corps, US Air Force and the US Space Force, along with the UK’s British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy teams.

“We are proud to have the United States and the United Kingdom militaries come together to participate in the C.O.D.E. Bowl,” said Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director of the Call of Duty Endowment.
“This will be the first time all military branches have come together for a spirited esports competition with the added bonus of raising awareness for veteran employment and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with USAA to make this happen.”
The 2020 CODE Bowl will take place on 11th December at 6pm GMT, streaming across the official Call of Duty YouTube and Twitch channels.
Call of Duty Endowment is a nonprofit benefit organisation founded in 2009 to help veterans find careers following their military service and raise awareness of their value in the workplace.
