Black Ops Cold War Season 1 Starter Pack leaked; Battle Pass, cosmetics and COD points included

As Season 1 for Black Ops Cold War draws closer, more and more leaks are surfacing on social media. The past couple of days have proven that not everything stays a secret for long, as the season’s new game modes, maps, and other cosmetics have leaked online. 

However, what hasn’t been publicized yet is the Season 1 Battle Pass, which is set to be included with the initial update. The only confirmed details we have on the pass is that it will be feature free weapons and other content upon the completion of various tiers. The system is essentially a copy-and-pasted version from Modern Warfare.

Aside from that though, no official information has released. Of course, that hasn’t stopped leakers from posting new details. According to a prominent source, Season 1 will feature a Starter Pack that comes with cosmetics, COD Points, and the Battle Pass in its entirety.

The leak comes from @BlackOpsLeaks, a relatively new data-mining account. However, so far, they’ve been extremely accurate in terms of upcoming content. For Season 1 though, they’ve really dug into the game files and pulled tons of information. 

Although, perhaps the most prominent leak is the Starter Pack. According to the data miners, the Starter Pack will be available to purchase upon the arrival of Season 1.

Like other Starter Packs we’ve seen in the past, COD Points and the Battle Pass will be included. Traditionally, these packs have gone for around $25-30.

Since the Battle Pass is usually priced at $10 and the COD Points is essentially money itself, this price point seems fair.

Also included in the leak is the Russel Adler skin, which is reportedly a tier on the Battle Pass. However, he likely won’t be the tier 100 skin, as that seems to belong to “Stitch”, which was also leaked.

In terms of other packs, BlackOpsLeaks data-mined several holiday-themed ones along with new Anime Bundles, which the community are quite fond of.

It’s unclear if all of this content is coming at the start of Season 1. With Modern Warfare, Activision split up every season’s content into two halves so it’s likely the same thing will be done for Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is scheduled to start on the 10th of December and will mark the first time that Black Ops Cold War weapons and features will be incorporated into the game's standalone battle royale mode Warzone.
