Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently had its much-awaited Season 4 Reloaded update and following the latest patch, Activision and Treyarch have decided to hold free week access for the Black Ops Cold War. As confirmed by Activision, the free week access for Cold War will kick off on 22nd July and end on 29th July.

The free week access will also include the new Season 4 Reloaded maps & modes, coupled with the updated Outbreak Zombies mode for all players.
Activision explains: "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a Free Access period featuring various Multiplayer and Zombies experiences, including playlists around the new map Rush and the entirety of 'Mauer Der Toten!' Those who play Warzone will find all their Black Ops Cold War weapons and global level progress intact within the trial, and any progress earned during the trial will carry right back over to Warzone."
The free access week will be available on multiple platforms such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Even though Treyarch is yet to unveil the details regarding the download process, several trustworthy sources for Call of Duty news reported these steps in order to gain the Cold War’s free week access:
- Open your Console store and search for “Cold War Free Access.”
- A free download option will appear on the page once the free week access begins.
- Click on it and download it to start playing.
PC players will get a “Play for Free’ option on their Battle.net launcher on the date mentioned above. Just like other platforms, players have to simply click the download button to install Cold War on their gaming system to get their hands on the Call of Duty title for a whole week without paying even a single penny.
