Season 3 of Warzone has arrived, bringing with it a brand "new" map, Verdansk '84, new weapons, battle pass, and more.
There have also been changes seen to the game's weaponry and, most importantly, certain attachments with many of the most popular ones receiving nerfs that may have left you feeling like your previously trust loadout is no longer performing the way it should.
If you find yourself in this precarious position -- have no fear -- as reconfiguring our loadout and attachments can have your weapon back to its enemy melting best.
In this guide, we take look at the ever-reliable M4A1 assault rifle and configure it for Warzone Season 3.
Best M4A1 loadout for Warzone Season 3
(Picture: Activision)
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Optic: VLK 3.0x
- Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Rnd Mag
We've opted for a loadout that helps maximise the M4A1's mid to long-range potential so this build is all about recoil control/stability.
To that end, we have attached the Monolithic Suppressor which increases the gun's range and keeps you off the mini-map.
The Stock M16 Grenadier will reduce the recoil, as does the Ranger Foregrip at a small cost of ADS speed.
The 60 Rnd Mag keeps you in the action for longer and, whether you set the gun up for range or not, is always a good shout.

The VLK 3.0x optic gives you greater clarity at range while not being so scoped in as to be useless at close range.
