In a game defined by all kinds of firearms, not many people are often interested in playing with the Crossbow.

And while most people will write off the Crossbow as a meme weapon and something you take only when you want to troll and have fun, we think that, with the proper build, the Crossbow is nothing to scoff at.

Of course, given that this weapon is drastically different from almost any other weapon in Warzone, there's a lot of things that you need to take into consideration when you are playing with it, and most definitely you will need some time to learn how to play with it properly, both in terms of its usefulness and in general how to fire properly with it.

Best Crossbow loadout in Warzone Season 2

With this build, the goal is to improve accuracy, reload speed, and bolt velocity, and with that in mind, these attachments are currently making the best possible build for Crossbow in Warzone Season 2. 

• Cable: 16-Strand Cable

  It gives you Bolt Accuracy, which is absolutely essential because one of the main weaknesses of Crossbow is its inaccuracy.
• Arms: XRK Thunder 200 lb

  We are taking this one for bonuses on Damage Range and Bullet Velocity, mostly because we want with this build to play like a pseudo-sniper and take down enemies from a relatively safe distance.
• Bolts: FTAC Fury 20'' Bolts

  With this build, we want to guarantee that any hit anywhere on the body is lethal, and while you can dot that with both explosive and thermal bolts, explosive bolts will do the job much quicker.
• Optic: VLK 3.0x

  The Crossbow is not really a reliable weapon for long-distance kills, but this optic will help you a bit in that regard.
• Perk: Sleight of Hand

  Finally, for the perk, we take the one which will help us to reload Crossbow significantly faster because you want to have the bolt ready as soon as possible.

And that's it. This build is extremely fun and challenging to play, but also surprisingly viable.

Its biggest strength is that you just need to hit your enemies literally anywhere, and they will die.

It is perfect in close to mid-range combat, but with a little bit of luck, it can perform well at a longer distance as well.

It is great for a "turtle" style of play, where you sit on some strategic spot and wait for your enemies to appear and instantly kill them with a single shot. Keep in mind that this weapon isn't good against multiple enemies, so you will want to avoid bigger skirmishes.
