With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 riding a massive wave of success since its release, players are discovering more of what the game has to offer. The Zombies mode, in particular, is packed with Easter eggs waiting to be uncovered.
One of these Easter eggs, found on the Terminus map, triggers a massive meteor to rain down from the sky, bringing some fantastic rewards with it. Let’s dive in and explore how to unlock the meteor Easter egg on the Terminus map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.
How to Get the Meteor Easter Egg in BO6 Zombies
To begin the Meteor Easter Egg in Black Ops 6’s Terminus map, start by turning on the power for Terminus Island by following the objective markers to activate all three AMPs. As you do so, be sure to pick up a ranged weapon as you'll need it for the later steps of the easter egg.
Next, head to any Arsenal machine and craft the Dead Wire Ammo Mod for 500 Salvage. You’ll also need this Ammo Mod for the Terminus Main Quest Easter Egg, so it's worth getting here if you can afford more.
After crafting Dead Wire, return to Terminus's top level, find the radio tower in the distance, then shoot the blue sparking box on its side. If done correctly, you’ll hear an electrical sound effect, and the light on top of the tower will turn red.
You will then need to shoot a second radio tower from where you first spawned on the map. The tower is visible from Engineering, so as long as you have Dead Wire and can aim accurately, it doesn’t matter where you shoot from.
Once both boxes are shot, quickly finish your current round. The next step must be completed in the following round; if you wait too long, the radio lights will turn off. So to ensure you have enough time, try lighting up the radio towers towards the end of a round so you have more space and time to look for those towers.
When the next round starts, go to the giant Void Cannon at the Gun Platform and pay 1750 Essence to activate the trap. As the beam shoots across the sky, you’ll see a meteor appear and crash to the ground on one of the nearby islands.
If the meteor doesn’t appear, it could be because you activated the trap in the same round you lit the towers or the red lights have gone out. In the latter case, you simply need to shoot the towers again and try your hand in the next round.
Meteor Easter Egg Rewards in BO6 Zombies
If you’ve done everything correctly, you can now head to the Docks, grab a Tactical Raft, and make your way to the island where the meteor landed. There, you’ll find a treasure trove of high-tier loot, including Ammo Mods, Scorestreaks, and even Wonder Weapons if you’re lucky!
Remember, you can only activate this Easter Egg once per game, but it’s easy to pull off. If you’re aiming to gain an early advantage, the meteor Easter Egg and all its rewards are worth pursuing in your next round on the Terminus map in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
