The Tomb is the newest addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduced with Season 2. Despite its smaller size, the map is packed with content, offering plenty for players to explore. One of its most valuable items is the Gold Armor, a crucial equipment for surviving relentless zombie hordes. This guide will walk you through obtaining the Gold Armor in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies – The Tomb.
How to Get the Gold Armor in BO6 Zombies - The Tomb
The Gold Armor is a valuable defensive gear in The Tomb Map of Black Ops 6 Zombies, offering automatic regeneration that lets you keep fighting while your armor heals. Here’s how to unlock it, though it requires a bit of effort.
Step 1: Starting the Blood Rituals
The first step to unlocking the Gold Armor is to begin the Blood Rituals. To do this, head to the Dark Aether Necus (where you’ll also find the shrine to craft the Ice Staff). Inside, you’ll find two large wooden crates. Use a melee attack to destroy them and reveal the heads of statues hidden within.
Pick up both statues and make your way to the Dig Site spawn area, where you’ll find two headless statues. As you might have guessed, you’ll need to reattach the heads to begin the next step. Once both statues are reassembled, interact with them to initiate the Blood Rituals.
Step 2: Completing the Blood Ritual Challenges
Interacting with the statues will trigger a challenge that you’ll need to complete to proceed. The first statue will spawn three Elite Mimics, tough enemies with large health pools that are difficult to take down. The second statue summons three Elite Doppelghasts, which also have enormous health pools, requiring significant firepower to defeat.
These challenges are no ordinary wave spawns - they’re incredibly difficult, primarily due to the red haze fog that fills the arena, and the fact that you’re locked in a small area while fighting. The toughest part is that your HP is set to 1 and cannot be recovered, meaning you can’t afford to take any hits.
To overcome this, you’ll need to defeat the enemies as quickly as possible using your strongest weapons. Ideally, you should use weapons that can deal damage to multiple enemies at once. Legendary guns are the best, but more specifically, you’ll want a weapon with splash damage, like the Pack-a-Punch GS45, to handle these challenging fights.
Step 3: Collecting the Gold Armor Vest
Once you’ve completed the two Blood Ritual challenges (good luck!), the original two statues you restored will begin to glow, emitting beams of light that connect to two bull statues in the Mausoleum area of the Dig Site. The beam continues to the wall on the right, where the Gold Armor Vest becomes available.
While the Gold Armor might seem like a purchase, it’s free. You can simply walk up to the wall and pick it up at no cost at all. Now that you know how to obtain it, you’re all set to protect yourself from the tough challenges that await in The Tomb while you progress through the main quest in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.
