Black Myth: Wukong PC Requirements: Minimum & Recommended Specs

Rooted in Chinese mythology, the upcoming Black Myth: Wukong first came into the spotlight back in 2020, when developer Game Science uploaded 13-minutes of pre-alpha gameplay footage. Fast-forward four-years later, and we're on the cusp of Black Myth: Wukong's full release.

In 2021, Game Science showed off a number of the game's enemies and bosses, as well as some of the combat and spells players could be using in-game. It was also revealed in August 2021 that the game had moved over to Unreal Engine 5. All of this showed off just how high-spec the game was shaping up to be. Now, with a full release on the horizon, players are eager to learn if their PC will be able to run Black Myth: Wukong effectively. 

Black Myth: Wukong Minimum & Recommended PC Requirements

Black Myth: Wukong Expected Minimum PC Requirements

Despite being set to launch August 20, 2024, developer Game Science has yet to reveal any PC requirements for Black Myth: Wukong. The game will be available to play on pC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, yet neither platform has any system requirements available. 

That said, we anticipate the game requiring a similar level of specs to other recent Unreal Engine 5 titles, such as HEXWORKS' Lords of the Fallen, which launched in 2023. Here are the minimum specs for Lords of the Fallen, to give you an idea of what to expect with Black Myth: Wukong:

• Processor: intel i5 8400 | AMD Ryzen 5 2600
• Memory: 12 GB RAM
• Graphics: 6GBs VRAM | NVIDIA GTX-1060 | AMD Radeon RX 590
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: 45 GB available space
• Additional Notes: 720p Low Quality Settings (30FPS) | SSD (Preferred) | HDD (Supported)

Black Myth: Wukong Expected Recommended PC Requirements

Similar to the above, there are still no recommended PC requirements for Black Myth: Wukong ahead of its August 20, 2024 release. Given that it uses Unreal Engine 5, we anticipate the system requirements being similar to that of other recently released Unreal Engine 5 games, such as Lords of the Fallen. 

Here are the recommended specs for Lords of the Fallen, to give you an idea of what to expect with Black Myth: Wukong:

• Additional Notes: 1080p High Quality Settings (60FPS) | SSD Required
