Most locations in the overworld of Bandle City are easy to explore to gather ingredients and valuable resources used for cooking, baking, and crafting items. However, a few resources will task players to explore deeper, where they'll find more precious materials, like Crystals, used for crafting.
Where players can find this resource isn't clearly explained; however, it's not difficult to find if they know where to look. We've pulled out the World Map to help players find Crystals and how they can be used in Bandle Tale.
How To Find Crystals In Bandle Tale?
Amongst the plethora of forageables that players can farm during their exploration across Bandle City, Crystals is one of the items that isn't found in the overworld. Instead, they are found lurking away from prying eyes by finding the various caves and one unique location to be discovered in Yarnville.
Currently, there are three unique locations in Yarnville where they can enter the cave's entrance to see what's hiding inside. These locations are Click-Clack Cavern, Soggy Grotto, and inside Rosalind's House, where they can bring up the World Map and toggle the third tab to view the locations of various items to collect.
Rosalind's House is located in her garden on the southern side of Yarnvile, and they can enter her home to find a chest with Crystals to loot. Soggy Grotto is situated on the southeast side of Yarnville, and its entrance is to the right of Gramps' House.
Once inside, they can spot a few interesting things to be found here, namely a Junk Upcycler, two piles of Junk, and a Basic Workbench, but there are also two nodes to be mined. The final location where they can mine Crystals is at the Click-Clack Cavern north on the island east of Darner's Glade, where they can pick up a side quest, Click-Clack Conundrum.
Likewise, there's a node to be found once they've explored deeper into the cave, and they can mine it to get some Crystals. Remember that they will need the Mineral Gathering Skill, which can be obtained from the Skill Tree under the Engineering tab for four Skill Points, but they need to unlock the Repair Multitool and Wood Upcycling Skills before unlocking this specific Skill.
How To Use Crystals In Bandle Tale?
During the first few hours of the game, players can use Crystals to craft the Heat Conductor Workbench, which is required to heat the Chef's Oven and use it to bake dishes. Much later in the game, Crystals will have a few more uses, including making Crystal Dust, which is processed by placing them into the Crusher Workbench.
The blueprint for this specific Workbench can be acquired by unlocking it under the Magic Skill Tree tab, which this Skill Tree tab becomes available much later. Crystal Dust can, therefore, be used to craft the Dust-Scooper Multitool, which is used to gather various other items, including Catalyst Sand.
