Baldur's Gate 3 has already had one major patch that boasted over a thousand different fixes to various problems that cropped up in the game, but a second patch is already being teased by Larian Studios to come sooner rather than later.
When will Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 2 release?
Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 2 will likely be coming in the next two weeks. As confirmed by the Director of Publishing at Larian, a new patch is just around the corner.
"An equally chonky Patch 2 is right around the corner. We're discussing internally about comms, dates & rollout. As well as all things around it. We'll give details soon"
What will be in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 2?
While we obviously don't know the full contents of the second patch, we do know that Larian Studios is looking to implement player feedback into the second patch. This includes the ability to change your character's appearance such as hair color and hairstyle in the middle of the game, so your custom character will be able to get a haircut sooner rather than later.
Beyond this, there'll likely be a lot of bug fixes and performance tweaks so that the game can run better on any system. Larian themselves have confirmed that any patches made on the PC version of the game will be available on Day One of the console release.
