The Ankylosaurus, also known as the Ankylo or Anky to most players, is a mid-sized, tanky dino with a hard, spiky black shell and a long tail with hard spikes on the end. This comes in very useful for the tasks it will perform, but more on that later. For now, let's first discuss how to find one.

The Ankylosaurus is pretty common throughout specific areas on the island. It can mostly be found on the northern hemisphere of the island, as well as the Redwood biome and, of course, on Herbivore Island to the southeast (since the Ankylo is a herbivore). Once you've found one, the taming strategy is pretty simple and easy to execute since the Ankylo is fairly slow.

To do this, you'll need to use the Knock Out strategy, which means knocking it out with any tranquillizer and feeding it berries, Kibble, or any other herbivore food to tame it.
