Aloft Charts Course To Steam Early Access Release Date Pencilled For Jan. 15th

Developer Astrolabe Interactive's co-op sandbox survival game Aloft has officially received its release date so players can get their Skyships ready for lift-off. This was announced across the game's official social media channels and Steam News Hub page, where they can add the game to their Steam Wishlist.

The co-op sandbox survival game was initially planned for a Fall 2024 Early Access release; however, the developer had to push it back for additional time to give the game "extra polish, detail, and fine-tuning." Ahead of its release, players can explore what the game has to offer with a demo currently available to install with announcements of new content, features, and optimizations to be confirmed soon.

Aloft's developer announced in a developer post via their Steam News Hub page, confirming this across their social media channels, that the co-op sandbox survival game has chartered its course to its Early Access release next year. The date was finalized in this developer post for 15th January 2025, for which players can make final preparations for their Skyships and set sail towards the Sky Islands on the aforementioned date.

"This marks the start of an exciting new journey, one where Aloft will continually grow and improve. With the fun and solid foundation we've built, the wonderful feedback from our community, and the popularity of our latest demo at Steam Next Fest, we are incredibly excited for the future of Aloft," Astrolabe Interactive stated in their developer post via Steam.

Additionally, they confirmed that plenty of launch day information will be available from their Steam page, including new game specifics surrounding its Early Access release. This will encompass new gameplay content that will be added to the game, which Sky Sailors can anticipate, and, likely, this information will also be posted to their official Discord server, which all Sky Sailors can join.
