The Season of Discover is here for World of Warcraft Classic. In this massive update, the game has completely changed and has diverged into its own path of updates. Now, players can experience something completely new when they load into the WoW Classic servers. One of the major changes brought into WoW Classic is the Runes.
Runes are unique buffs that players can apply to their gear. These runes are so transformative that they can lead to complete gameplay changes for the players. Warlocks have a certain Rune that everyone is hunting for, and it is the Metamorphosis Rune. Here, we will go over how to get the Metamorphosis Rune in WoW Classic.
How To Get The Metamorphosis Rune In WoW Classic
Getting the Metamorphosis Rune in WoW Classic is not that difficult, but it will require some legwork. The first thing players will want to do is be at least level 25. Once that is accomplished, go to the Demonic Reliquary at the Tower of Illgalar in Redridge Mountains to collect the Orb of Des. Then, go to the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore to find the Bough of Atlek.
Collect these items early and then go to The Barrens to find Doan Karhan to get a quest called The Orb of Soran'ruk. Players will need to get 3 Soran'ruk Fragments from Twilight Acolytes and 1 Large Soran'ruk Fragment from Shadowfang Darksouls. Once those items are collected, go back to Doan Karhan.
The next quest is called The Conjuring. Players will need to get 10 Blood of the Legion, which can be collected by defeating demons at Demon Fall Ridge. Players have to use Drain Soul on every demon in the ritual circle to complete the quest.
Once done, a Mysterious Traveler will appear, and players can get the Mysterious Traveler quest. Go back to Doan Karhan, and then he will give players the Raszel Ander quest, which will then get players the Rune of Metamorphosis.
What Does The Rune Of Metamorphosis Do In WoW Classic
The Rune of Metamorphosis is one of the best Runes for Warlocks. Players will put the Rune on their gloves and will receive the following effects:
- Transform into a Demon, increasing Armor by 500%, reducing the chance you will be critically hit by 6%, increasing your threat by 50%, increasing mana gained from Life Tap by 100%, transforming the functionality of some of your abilities, and gaining some new abilities:
- Searing Pain: Now Instant
- Shadow Bolt: Becomes Shadow Cleave, a Shadow melee attack that hits up to 3 nearby enemies but has a 6-sec cooldown
- Fear: Replaced with Menance, which taunts the target to attack you but has no effect if the target is already attacking you
- Demon Charge - Charge an enemy and stun it for 1 sec. It cannot be used in combat.
- Demonic Howl - Forces all nearby enemies to focus attacks on you for 6 sec.
