The latest event to hit Wild Rift is on the horizon, Broken Blades will see mark the introduction of bladed legends Riven and Irelia. Here is everything you need to know.

League of Legends: Wild Rift v2.3 is now out, bringing with it the usual slew of new skins, champions changes and quality of life additions.

Across the course of the update, the game will receive four new champions: Irelia and Riven, and later Lucian and Senna.

Both pairs will be introduced through in-game events, with Irelia and Riven's Broken Blades set to start tomorrow offering players the chance to get either champion for free along with a number of other rewards.

Broken Blades - Schedule

The event will run for 13 days and start on 3rd June and end on the 15th June.

Broken Blade - missions and rewards

Like some past events, players will choose a mission tree - either Irelia and Riven - though unlike past events they can go do the other missions once they complete their initial pick, though there will be different rewards.

This May Hurt	Deal 65,000 damage to enemy champions	150 Blue Motes
Last One Standing	Play 5 games OR Win a game while having at least 15 takedowns	You've Been Exiled bauble
Rout Them!	As a team, kill a total of 1,000 minions	150 Blue Motes
Formidable Warrior	Play 5 games OR Get a triple kill or greater	Broken Blades Champion Selection Chest (Riven or Irelia)
The Spoils of War	Earn 60,000 gold	150 Blue Motes
Leading the Vanguard	Play 5 games OR Earn an S rank medal	Broken Blades Pose Selection Chest (Riven Pose or Irelia Pose)
The Ancient Foe	As a team, kill Baron Nashor 2 times	150 Blue Motes
The Storm, and the Sword	Play 5 games OR As Riven, get a takedown on an enemy champion that was recently hit with Wind Slash.	Fury of the Blade icon

Once you complete all of Riven's primary missions, you may bring your reforged blade to Irelia's aid with these secondary missions!

Ionia may be broken, but it will never be defeated. Join Irelia to deploy the fragments of her family sigil in a deadly dance that Noxus won't soon forget!
