Warzone 2 Assimilation: How To Add An Enemy To Your Squad

Warzone 2 is a bigger and more ambitious version of the popular CoD free-to-play battle royale game. With the new Al Mazrah map, new weapons, new underwater gameplay mechanic, and a new battle pass, Warzone 2 seems to have plenty to offer to the veteran players and the newcomers.

One of the most interesting additions to Warzone 2 is the Assimilation feature which allows players to swap teams during a match. Yes, you read that right. Here's how Assimilation works in Warzone 2 DMC and how you can invite and join another team in the heat of the moment. 

Warzone 2 DMZ Assimilation explained

Warzone 2 has brought a new DMZ mode to the game, in which players explore the open world, complete missions from the game's three factions, and combat enemy AI and other operators. 

However, other operators aren't the biggest threat in the DMZ mode, and as such, sometimes you might want to team up with the enemy team to face the overarching threat together and survive the DMZ. Warzone 2 allows you to do so through the new Assimilation mode.

How To Invite And Join Another Team Using Assimilation

To join or invite a player from another team, follow the steps written below:

• Open the ping wheel in the game
• Press the invite or join the nearby squad option.

You will get a notification on your screen to either accept or reject the enemy's team request. Similarly, the other team will get a notification on their screen to either accept or reject your request to join their team.
And that's pretty much it. 

The Assimilation feature also works in the regular Warzone 2 battle royale mode though there's a slight difference in how it operates in the classic Warzone playlists and the unhinged playlists.
