Wondering where to find a Cephalon Fragment in Warframe? If you're new to Warframe, chances are you're unfamiliar with plenty of things it has to offer. That's completely okay because Warframe is a large and complex game with a decade-worth of content.
One of the early obstacles you may encounter while navigating quests in Warframe is junction objectives. To unlock the Mars-Phobo junction and access the Stolen Dreams quest, you must find and scan a Cephalon Fragment, among other things. In this guide, we explain how to find a Cephalon Fragment on Mars in Warframe.
How To Locate A Cephalon Fragment In Warframe
To find a Cephalon Fragment in Warframe, you first need to equip a Scanner in your Gear loadout. Next, you may want to use mods such as Loot Detector and Thief's Wit to detect Cephalon Fragments easily.
Equipping the Loot Detector will show all the Loot Crates on your map, whereas having Thief's Wit will mark the Cephalon Fragment on the map with a little blue symbol. This makes tracking these little blue fragments so much easier.
Do note that equipping these mods isn't necessary to find and scan a Cephalon Fragment. If you're just starting up, chances are you probably don't have any of those mods, and that's okay, we got you.
Every mission on Mars spawns one Cephalon Fragment randomly across the map. It could be anywhere, but you will mostly find it tucked away in the easy-to-miss optional areas of the mission. As such, your best bet is to keep your eyes open and search every nook and cranny of the location. We recommend playing the Ara capture mission on Mars, because it's relatively shorter, and you will have a much easier time locating the Cephalon Fragment.
Once you have located a Cephalon Fragment, equip the Scanner from the shortcut wheel and scan it. Doing so will complete the objective.
