Loot River is the new dungeon crawl, roguelike indie game developed by Straka Studio. A dark, yet beautiful pixel art world awaits players to explore and discover new loot.
This shape-shifting world has seemingly endless catacombs, perilous rivers, and dark fortresses. Players won’t want to miss out on this action-packed, fast-paced dungeon crawler that offers a fun and new challenge.
Loot River - Gameplay
A roguelike game inspired by Dark Souls and Tetris, Loot River involves controlling a third-person character as well as the blocks underneath the player character. Players will have to fight minions and monsters and shift the blocks around to unlock puzzles and advance further.

With both features, players can combine fighting and shifting the landscape to work and adjust the battle to their advantage. Massive boss fights await the players where they’ll have to master both fighting and shifting the blocks beneath them.
Loot River - Features
Players will be able to upgrade their characters by leveling up and improving their stats. There will be a large variety of weapons for players to find and use to improve their gameplay.
The game also offers a few spells to help players devastate their foes and survive their journey along the Loot River. Loot River highlights a beautiful art style with real-time shadowing and fluid water.
Players will wake up in a unique parallel universe after each death where they will navigate through thousands of dungeons. These dungeons will be randomly generated which will give players new puzzle experiences throughout the journey in Loot River.
Loot River - Release date
Loot River will release on 3rd May 2022 and will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The game will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on the day of release. At the current moment, there are no plans to bring it to Playstation 4 or 5.
