Valve has started the brand new month with a new Steam Fest promotion, the latest of which pivots towards the "final frontier." The Steam Space Exploration Fest has launched, which showcases some of the best galactic gaming releases that will send players straight into orbit, but only for a limited time.
Valve released a new trailer to coincide with the launch of the latest Steam Fest extravaganza as hundreds of games and DLCs go on sale, new demos have been made available, and spotlight showcases for popular and VR titles. Additionally, there are a few Steam goodies to grab and personalize their Steam accounts, but you should get them before comms goes out.
The Steam Space Exploration Fest has gone live through the PC client starting 2nd September 2024 and will run until 9th September 2024 at 10 am / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC. For a limited time, players can browse the curated collections of gaming releases, DLCs, and demos that are "out of this world," like Astroneer, Deep Rock Galactic, Kerbal Space Program, No Man's Sky, and Starfield.
There are plenty of Free-To-Play (F2P) titles like EVE Online and Warframe that are given the spotlight during this themed Steam Fest and view through the catalog of forthcoming releases, including Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Eden Crafters, and The Alters. Likewise, a handful of VR games have been spotlighted, and plenty of demos are available for free during this Steam Fest promotion.
Finally, Steam has also made a few cosmetic items for players to acquire for free and personalize their Steam accounts. Themed Avatar Frame, Animated Avatar, and Sticker are available from the Steam Points Shop but do get them now before they blast back into orbit when the Steam Space Exploration Fest ends.
