Steam Next Fest October 2022 - Dates, Events & More

It's time for October 2022's Steam Next Fest, and this month's event is sure to be a blast.

Steam Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games with demos, developer chats, live broadcasts, and so much more in store for fans of video games.

We'll go over everything you need to know about when Steam Next Fest 2022 is going on, as well as which festivities you can partake in this year. 

Steam Next Fest - October 2022

The Steam Next Fest event celebrates games that are in progress and coming soon to Steam. As such, the event highlights developers of upcoming games and gives them an opportunity to discuss the games they're working on.

The event will feature live demos, chats with developers, and more from those who are creating games in progress.

The Steam Next Fest 2022 festival will take place from 3rd October 2022 at 10 AM PDT until 10th October 2022 at 10 AM PDT. That's one full week of events!

The webpage for the 2022 Steam Next Fest promises "seven days, hundreds of demos, [and] oodles of livestreams."

The games that will be included in the event have yet to be announced. Developers of upcoming games were asked to submit their games by July 2022. If a game is set as "coming soon" on Steam and is unreleased, there's a chance it could appear in some form in Steam Next Fest - so keep an eye out.

This Steam Next Fest is not Steam's first; the February 2022 and June 2022 Steam Next Fests both offered players opportunities to test out new games before they're released.
