The eight mainline entry into the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Village, releases on 7th May 2021. Capcom's latest and possibly greatest Resident Evil title yet will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. While console gamers won't need to worry about meeting requirements, PC gamers do need to know what the Resident Evil Village minimum and recommended PC system requirements are.
Resident Evil Village PC system requirements

These specs aren't all that frightening, thankfully, and most modern gaming rigs from the past few years will at least be able to meet the minimum PC system requirements for Resident Evil Village.

Meeting the minimum specs will provide you with an estimated performance of 1080p/60fps when you set your graphics options to "Prioritize Performance".
If your gaming rig meets the recommended specifications, you can enjoy 1080p/60fps at high settings. However, for both the minimum and recommended specs, Capcom notes you might see some framerate drops in "graphics-intensive scenes".
Lastly, Capcom revealed you will need to have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX6700 XT at minimum to play the game with Ray Tracing enabled.
For those who don't meet the Resident Evil Village PC system requirements, you have until 7th May to upgrade your gaming rig if you plan on playing Capcom's next big survival horror title at launch.
