Following a short delay, developer 34BigThings and publisher Saber Interactive are ready to unleash Redout 2, an arcade-style anti-gravity racing game for consoles and PC. It is dubbed the "fastest racing game in the universe" but thankfully, looking at the Redout 2 PC system requirements (specs), you won't need the fastest PC in the galaxy to play it.

In this article, we outline both the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Redout 2, alongside the game's expected file size, so start your engines.

Redout 2 PC minimum & recommended requirements

First and foremost, Redout 2 looks fantastic, and the gameplay is, of course, mind-bending fast.

If you have a decent gaming rig built in the past seven years or so, then you shouldn't have much trouble hitting the minimum requirements for Redout 2.

First off, you will need Windows 10 and at least DirectX 11. Only 64-bit Operating Systems are supported, which is not a surprise at all.

• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB | AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
• DirectX: Version 12
• Network: Broadband Internet connection
• Sound Card: DirectX compatible

While the GPU recommended is a bit high, keep in mind that Redout 2 looks fantastic and its gameplay is super fast, which means 60fps is really something gamers will want to hit.

Please note that the developers did not reveal exactly what frame rate you can expect when meeting the minimum or recommended requirements.

Redout 2 file/download size on PC

According to Steam, Redout 2's download/file size is roughly 25 GB. That's not all too big considering today's standards.

Keep in mind that the Redout 2 file size might be bigger or smaller once the game is downloaded and installed. There might also be a Day One update, which could increase the Redout 2 file size.
