Singularity 6, a new video game studio, announced a massively multiplayer community simulation game named Palia. Set in a brand new vibrant world, Palia is a new name in the community sim genre with elements of open-world adventure games. Developed on Unreal Engine 4, Palia entails an enriching storyline where the players will need to make themselves a new home and forge a future for humanity.
Palia first gameplay details revealed
From the Youtube announcement trailer, it is evident that the game will take the players into a fantasy setting. Players will be playing as “newly reemerged humans” to unveil the mysteries of humanity’s past or just live a peaceful life.
Gameplay involves garden, fish, cook and much more with level up capabilities as they progress. There will be a bunch of characters to choose from, and the game will be filled with plenty of social elements including the ability to play with friends.
How to join the Palia pre-alpha
Palia pre-alpha will be only available for PC players in the English language. Players will need to sign up for this on the official website for a chance at joining in.
Additionally, they can fill a quick survey for a higher chance of getting pre-alpha access. The pre-alpha dates and system requirements are not announced yet.

The pre-alpha for the game will be exclusively available for PC players.
However, the developers do plan to bring this on other platforms as they mentioned "Player experience is super important for us at the studio (it's actually our first core value), so we plan on expanding to other consoles as soon as possible."
Who are the Palia devs?
Palia is made by Singularity 6, a new Los Angeles based studio with industry veterans from studios like Blizzard, Riot, Epic, and more.

The development was started back in 2018 and finally, the game is ready for showcasing in front of the community.
It will be interesting to see how Palia turns out as a new title in the MMO genre. From the first gameplay details, the game does already look intriguing despite it being in a pre-alpha state.
