Immortals Fenyx Rising is coming to Steam soon according to an official page on Steam itself. This marks the continuing slow return of Ubisoft games to the massive marketplace.
It was back in 2019 that Ubisoft stopped releasing high-profile titles on the PC giant, opting instead to launch the games on the Epic Games Store and their own digital storefront. In November of this year, however, Ubisoft announced plans to bring Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Anno 1800, and Roller Champions to the service. It's clear that whatever model they were using prior has either run a course or wasn't working for them, so the company will be releasing their games across several storefronts now.
As stated by a Ubisoft Spokesperson when speaking to The Verge, back when the first Ubisoft games started to trickle their way over:
"We're constantly evaluating how to bring our games to different audiences wherever they are, while providing a consistent player ecosystem through Ubisoft Connect'
There's no sign as to how Ubisoft plans to release games on the platform, though, with no comment on if they plan to release their new titles on the platform day and date with other storefronts, or if consumers will still have to deal with a staggered release.
