- Square Enix has released a surprise demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake
- The game was originally scheduled to be released on 3rd March but was delayed till next month
- The demo features the mission against Mako Reactor 1 and the first boss battle
Final Fantasy VII Remake is mere weeks away, but you don’t have to wait any longer for a taste of the highly anticipated reimagining.
Square Enix has released a demo available now on the PlayStation Store, which takes up 8GB of storage space.
The demo is pulled from the beginning of the game, encompassing the mission against Mako Reactor 1 and the first boss battle.
If you download the demo before 11th May, you’ll also gain access to an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme when the full game releases on 10th April.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was previously scheduled to be released 3rd March but it was delayed earlier this year – so this is a nice present of sorts to tide fans over.
The remake however is only the first part of the Final Fantasy VII story, with it unknown how many games Square Enix will split the full PlayStation One title across.
Final Fantasy VII Remake releases 10th April on PlayStation 4.
